Mission
GamepadTester.uk aims to make diagnosing controller problems quick, accurate, and accessible. No downloads, no log-ins—just open the page and start testing.
This site was built by Matt at Inline Computers to help gamers maintain their hardware.
How It Works
- Client-Side Core. By default, everything runs on the HTML5 Gamepad API inside your browser. Controller input stays local unless you choose to share a summary.
- Voluntary Leaderboard. If (and only if) you click "Share Results," your anonymous technical stats (drift %, latency ms) are sent to our database to compare against other users.
- Portable reports. PDF, CSV, PNG, and JSON logs are generated instantly on your device.

Google Analytics 4, AdSense, and Google Privacy & Messaging consent management.
Privacy, Analytics & Ads
- Controller data stays local by default. Normal testing happens in your browser unless you choose to submit a leaderboard summary.
- Consent-managed analytics and ads. We use Google Analytics 4, Google AdSense, and Google's Privacy & Messaging tools to manage choices where required.
- Affiliate links may earn commission. Some recommendations link to Amazon and may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you.
